In our culture, we often think of experiences like depression, anxiety, stress, insomnia etc. as problems to be fixed or gotten rid of. What if they were signs, signals or guideposts trying to tell us what is out of balance in our lives? Indicators that we need to correct our course? For 20 years, I’ve studied, learned, and practiced many different therapeutic approaches that I tailor to suit the diversity of my client’s needs. I have experience with Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Neuro-Linguistics to name a few.
I work with adults of all ages. I help clients arrive at a better place within themselves because life takes on new meaning and potential when we are comfortable in our own selves. I hold a Master of Education in Educational Counselling from the University of Ottawa and am a registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
