“A person is a fluid process, not a fixed and static entity…” Carl R. Rogers

I support clients with a wide variety of challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, and sexuality/gender issues. Are you struggling with repetitive negative thoughts? Do you feel like you cannot seem to break free from behavioural patterns that are holding you back from living the life you want to live? Are you struggling with unfulfilling relationships or distressed about interpersonal conflicts? Maybe you are grappling with difficulties, shame, or confusion related to sexuality or gender?

I emphasize creating a custom counselling experience that makes you feel safe, respected, understood, and accepted. I do this by engaging genuinely with empathy and prioritizing your unique context and individuality in order to build a strong relationship. It is also important to me that I create an atmosphere of inclusivity, cultural and LGBTQ+ sensitivity/competence, and sex positivity (including
issues surrounding sex work, ethical non-monogamy, or kink).

My approach to counselling is based on integrating a variety of approaches depending on the unique needs of my clients. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Existential Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy (BSFT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Together, I want to learn about what your needs are for therapy, enable you to express yourself and feel heard, and guide you to gain more insight and self-awareness.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) under the supervision of Jessica Ng MA, RP. I hold a double major in Psychology and Anthropology with minors in Gender Studies and Sexuality Studies from Carleton University and am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

If you think I would be a good fit for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I would be honored to assist you with creating the life you desire.
