I believe that in life we all need a non-judgmental & supportive space where we can feel safe and understood. I use an integrative approach to work collaboratively with my clients to help them live in the moment, cope healthily with stress, regulate emotions, improve relationships with others and build self-worth.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist who has over four years of experience in working within a therapeutic setting. I am passionate about helping people heal from the pains of the past & present, discover meaning in the world around them and become more self-effective within the challenges of life and relationships.  I strive to create a space for clients that is non-judgmental, warm and welcoming. My hope for every client is that they will be able to develop a greater sense of self-worth as we collaborate together.
Mindfulness, psychoeducation and self-compassion are all primary pillars of my therapeutic practice. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and also integrate interventions from other modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).  I am both trauma-trained and autism-informed. I enjoy providing clients with skills and information they need so that they can understand and overcome the challenges they are facing.

Regardless of my client’s religious orientation, I am aim to make therapy a safe space for discussing matters pertaining to the client’s spirituality. My education includes a Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychotherapy and Spirituality from Saint Paul University, and I have a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, majoring in Christian Spirituality from Rocky Mountain College in Calgary, AB.  I believe that joy and contentment can be found in attentiveness to the small things in life.  Things that I frequently find myself grateful for include the warmth of the sun, the colours of the seasons, the aroma of tea, the sound of instrumental music, and the enjoyment offered by games and the company of friends.
