Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. ~ Albert Einstein

My approach is client-centred, which means I don’t have a “one size fits all” method to therapy. I have worked with people from all different walks of life. My goal is to provide you with a safe space to talk about issues.

I have expertise treating:

  • anxiety
  • depression
  • PTSD
  • grief and loss
  • chronic pain
  • addictions
  • mood disorders
  • trauma
  • anger management
  • relationship issues
  • workplace issues

I provide therapy services to individuals seeking counselling services for many reasons. Some examples are transitional times in life such as a divorce, loss of a friend or family member, workplace issues, or coping with health problems.

Since 2011 I have been working with individuals suffering from depressed mood, anxiety, grief, addictions, pain, trauma, and relationship issues. I have worked with adults in groups and individual therapy. I have also conducted psychological assessments with children, adolescents, and adults.

I obtained my MSc in Clinical Psychology from Acadia University and a BA Hons in Psychology from the University of Guelph. I have been registered as a Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario since 2015 and am eligible for registration as a Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. As a Registered Psychotherapist, my services are regulated under the Psychotherapy Act 2007 and by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

In addition to my clinical work, I’ve worked on research in the areas of occupational health and safety and clinical program evaluation. Prior to becoming a clinician, I worked for four years in Human Resources. Each stage of my career has helped me to develop an extensive understanding of workplace and clinical issues.
