“One of the most satisfying feelings I know – and also one of the most growth-promoting experiences for the other person – comes from my appreciating this individual in the same way I appreciate a sunset. People are just as wonderful as sunsets if I can let them be. In fact, perhaps the reason we can truly appreciate a sunset is that we cannot control it. When I look at a sunset as I did the other evening, I don’t find myself saying, “Soften the orange a little on the right hand corner, and put a bit more purple along the base, and use a little more pink in the cloud color.” I don’t do that. I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.” – Carl R. Rogers

I am Natasha and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a recent graduate of Yorkville University from the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program.

I work with teens and adults who are struggling to face life’s various challenges. We all have our ways of coping, but sometimes it might feel like our typical methods are no longer helping. I appreciate that each person who walks through my door is unique and therefore I tailor my approach to the individual.

I offer a safe space to share what you’re facing, a non-judgmental ear to listen to the intricacies of your challenges, and a collaborative approach to navigate a way through the discomfort. My collaborative approach means that I trust you are an expert in your life, but I am here to offer my support, presence, and reflections of what I see in you. I am here to listen, shed light on areas you may not be consciously aware of, highlight patterns that may be stemming from earlier experiences, and emphasize your strengths. We will collaborate to determine what your therapeutic goals are and work towards achieving them together. It is my hope that our sessions can be a practice ground for you to be the best version of yourself in your personal life. Ultimately, I aim to help you gain a deepened understanding of yourself to live a life you find meaningful and fulfilling.
