“We must look at ourselves over and over again in order to learn to love, to discover what has kept our hearts closed, and what it means to allow our hearts to open” Jack Kornfield
My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel seen, heard, and a space where you feel able to grow. Whether you’re seeking to build new skills, gain clarity, or reconnect with parts of yourself, my role is to walk alongside you in that journey. I aim to bring a genuineness, humility, and safety to the therapeutic relationship.
I have three years of experience employed in a non-profit mental health agency, and previous to that a two-year clinical internship during my graduate training doing supervised client-facing work, and most recently one year in private practice. I take a trauma-informed and humanistic approach, integrating elements of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and an attachment-based lens, alongside a working knowledge of common evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, and ACT.
Feel free to follow-up for a free 20-minute phone consultation to see if you feel we’d be a good fit. We can talk about your focus for therapy, hoped-for outcomes, and explore what therapy might look like if we decide to work together. Clinicians and authors that I take inspiration from include Terrence Real, Janina Fisher, Pete Walker, Dan Siegel, Jack Kornfield, Pat Ogden, and Judith Herman.
My lived experience includes
- Blended Family/Divorce/Separation
- Disability - Invisible
- Neurodivergence
- Religious Trauma
- Suicide
