Hello and welcome,
My name is Aisley and I use she/they pronouns. If you are reading this you are likely considering therapy, and I can appreciate how difficult it can be to know where to begin or to find the right therapist. I work with individuals and couples aged 16 and above and offer both in person and virtual sessions.
I want to help my clients get back to themselves or learn more about who they are and/or wish to be. Perhaps you are someone struggling with mapping out their identity. Maybe you are a queer person in predominantly heteronormative spaces. Or maybe you have experienced childhood trauma and family issues that have affected and shaped how you move through the world. I help clients to explore and make sense of things in a safe and non-judgemental space where we work at whatever pace is right for you.
I emphasize working collaboratively with clients and prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship to establish a secure base to work from together. I work from an integrative psychodynamic framework, incorporating aspects of emotion focused therapy (EFT), internal family systems (IFS), and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I currently work under the supervision of Pamela Green, M.A., R.P..
If it sounds like we would be a good fit and you are interested in working together, or if you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
I offer virtual sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and in person sessions on Thursday afternoons, Fridays, and Saturdays.
