Welcome, I’m glad you’re here. I believe we all have the capacity to create change in our lives and this is your first step. Whether you are looking to work on yourself or with your partner and have one goal or many, we will work with them at your own pace. As we are all unique, I work from a person-centred approach and will meet you where you are today, collaborate and walk alongside you as you begin your healing journey. No matter what brings you here you will be held with kindness and compassion from a non-judgemental place. How we think and feel about ourselves and others can sometimes hold us back from living a fulfilled life aligned with our values. Let’s work together so you can begin to feel empowered and move towards wellness.
Together we can process trauma, work through depression, learn strategies to manage anxiety, tackle relationship difficulties, enhance self-esteem and explore other things that might get in the way of living a fulfilling life. I use a variety of approaches and interventions like narrative therapy, somatic experiencing (SE), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, play therapy and expressive arts to help you explore difficult emotions and experiences. I bring warmth, compassion, empathy, kindness, playfulness and creativity to our sessions. I strive to create a safe space for the BIPOC community, people with disabilities and folks from the LGBTQ2S+ community to feel welcomed, heard, supported and respected.
