I work with individuals navigating relational challenges, trauma, and disconnection—both in their relationships with others and within themselves. Healing begins in a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, safety, collaboration, and respect for each person’s agency and choice.

I am a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist with good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (10421493). With empathy and compassion, I see my role as offering a safe (safer to those who have limited experiences with safety) grounded presence for emotional expression, collaboration, curiosity and agency while maintaining hope for healing.

With over 15 years of experience as a registered nurse, I bring a deeply compassionate, person-centred approach shaped by the courage and vulnerability of those I have worked alongside. My practice is trauma-informed and culturally and identity-safe, with a strong foundation in attachment-based and emotional approaches. I support clients in reconnecting with themselves, fostering a sense of safety, and moving toward greater integration and balance.

My professional experiences have included working in street health and mental health, Indigenous community health, humanitarian and not-for-profit sectors, harm reduction, outreach, crisis and with those in active military service.

Nurse Psychotherapists are not yet recognized by many insurance companies, I am also a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (15614).

With hopes of increasing accessibility I am an approved provider for the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Program, the Victim Quick Response Program (VQRP), the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) and the Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) program.

• Offering compassionate care to those who live with substance use, justice involvement, and or unstable moods, hopelessness, hearing voices, seeing things that others do not, experiencing panic, hyperarousal, flashbacks and/or disconnection from self and/or withdrawal from others.

• Working with those who have had histories with neglect and or those who are experiencing interpersonal partner violence.

• Using an integrated approach with a focus on emotions and attachment.
