"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom." - Viktor Frankl

My name’s Ayesha, and I’m here to support you in exploring your experiences of both the world around you, and your inner life. I believe we’re all shaped by a number of external and internal forces—including societal, cultural, familial, social, mental and emotional. All of these forces influence our behaviour, habits, patterns, reactions, and how we interact with others and the world around us. Of these, I believe experiences we had when we were infants/children often leave the most enduring imprints on our psyches, and the structures of who we are. Sometimes these imprints are conscious, and sometimes they’ve been so engrained and habitual from a young age that we’re not even aware of them.

I believe the more we can cultivate insight and awareness into what we do and why we do it, along with bringing to the surface our deepest needs and desires—the more ability we have to challenge our unhelpful patterns while also creating newer, more skillful ones, that allow us to navigate the world in a more fulfilling, authentic and meaningful way. I’m here to support you in this process of better understanding yourself—in order to more fully embody the way you want to show up for yourself and others. In our work together, we’ll create a safe container of space to explore your experiences, how they impact you, what they mean to you, and what you desire moving forward. During our time together we’ll move at your pace, and take a collaborative approach to explore your world based on your goals, boundaries and lived experiences.

I work with any individuals who are looking to better understand themselves, their emotions, and their behaviours. This might manifest as working with grief, death/loss, illness, personal/spiritual growth and transformation, life transitions, anxiety, stress, depression, inter-cultural sensitivities, relational dynamics, identity questions and/or self-esteem challenges (this list is simply illustrative, and not exhaustive). Being rooted in a yogic background, I also take into account the importance of the body in our work together, and how somatics play a role within our healing.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out! I look forward to potentially meeting with you.
