** I currently have a waiting list**

In therapy I like to use laughter, curiosity, genuine connection, and authentic therapeutic relationship to help move through what brings you to my profile today. I believe that we all get stuck at times, whether that be stuck in our thoughts, emotions, sensations, and/or relationships. Maybe you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed by the impacts of the past or even how to get to where you want to go next. Throughout my years of having the opportunity to sit with folks, one thing I have learned and wholeheartedly believe is that even the most tangled up parts of us make sense when we can give them some room and space to be heard and understood. You are in the right place. I will support you to come to new understandings of yourself. We will work to bring back a state of flow and get you unstuck.

The therapies that resonate for me are rooted in anti-oppressive somatic approaches, alongside nervous system, trauma focused and attachment therapies. The therapeutic approaches that I utilize are, Somatic Experiencing, Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, ACT, Parts focused therapies, DBT, Polyvagal theory, and Attachment therapy. Often times therapy starts with supporting folks to grow their capacity to navigate life now, with emotional and nervous system regulation skills.  Our work also may include working with relationship challenges or feelings of disconnection. This work is very useful to develop confidence and comfort to move into some more focused trauma work, whether that is attachment/childhood trauma, single event, CPTSD and/or overwhelm showing up in life now.
Of course, it is impossible to properly describe the full scope and uniqueness of the work with each individual person I have the opportunity to work with in this short message. Partly this is because you are such a big part of the story of how we are going to work together. With that said, this list is in no way exhaustive and our focus, pace, banter, and space we create together in therapy is yet to be determined. If you are interested in chatting with me and getting to know what therapy might look for you please feel free to reach out via email or phone call. If you contact by phone call- please leave a VM I am often already in a call due to the nature of the work but I will call you back. I am looking forward to connecting!
I do also offer in person sessions in Carp Ontario at The Wren Centre. For more information and pricing please see our website:
