Trauma-informed therapy, living in survival mode, emotional overwhelm, Intergenerational patterns, acculturation stress, Cultural Identity,
I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, cared for, and supported. If you’re coming to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure where to start, I want you to know that you don’t have to figure it out alone. I am here to be in your corner.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and I work with teens and adults navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, identity concerns, emotional disconnection, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with carry complex experiences related to attachment wounds, intergenerational patterns, cultural identity, and belonging. In our work together, my priority is to create a space where you feel safe enough to show up as you are — without having to minimize, explain, or carry everything by yourself. From this foundation of safety, we gently make space to move emotions through the body and reconnect with yourself.
My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Compassion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based CBT, somatic-informed strategies, and culturally responsive practices. We work together to understand the parts of you that have helped you survive, the parts that feel stuck or overwhelmed, and the parts that are longing for ease, clarity, and connection.
As a Latina therapist, I am especially passionate about supporting BIPOC clients navigating identity, acculturation stress, trauma, and intergenerational experiences. I believe representation in therapy matters, and I strive to offer a space where your cultural context is understood and respected.
