Dianna Ilk | Ontario Counselling and Psychotherapy

What are you struggling with that you aren't letting yourself fully feel? Currently accepting new clients. As well, I am available for reduced fee psychoanalysis.

When you find yourself going through a life transition, feeling stressed, depressed, or grieving a loss, you might feel overwhelmed and lost. Often our thoughts and feelings get tangled with expectations leaving us unsure about how to actually take care of ourselves. Together we will explore what is working for you as well as what old patterns are getting in the way of meeting your needs. The aim of psychotherapy, and our aim, is to help you find better ways of meeting your emotional needs.

I work with individuals, and couples, who are committed to getting to know themselves and each other better. I create a safe and non-judgmental space to explore thoughts, feelings and to be truly heard. My practice is rooted in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. I have worked for many decades as a suicide and crisis counsellor, professor, visual artist and parent.

When you are ready, I offer a free 15-minute phone conversation where we can get to know each other a little. In session, we will work together to create a plan to enhance your life and well-being. All of our discussions are completely confidential. I offer short-term and long-term therapy, evenings and weekends are also available. I look forward to collaborating with you.
