Your pain is a compass, guiding you to the parts of yourself most in need of love - Kyle Hulehan
I see you, over there, carrying so much more than anyone around you realizes. For a really long time, you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by the weight and impact of your past experiences, the stresses of your present life situation, or fears and questions about the future… and if we’re honest, probably all three. There’s a sense of being stuck in a pattern of simply surviving, and despite all you have tried, you fear the heaviness might never lift. I get it, and you are not alone.
As a relational therapist, my goal is to create a space where you can set some of it down, even just for a little while, and we’ll work to make sense of it together. When you feel truly seen, heard & understood, and meet your pain face-to-face with compassion & care, my hope is that you will find a path towards healing that doesn’t feel rushed and actually sticks.
No matter what you have been through or what you’re going through right now, you are worth so much more than just surviving.
I am passionate about working with individuals who are navigating the impacts of past or recent trauma, managing symptoms of anxiety, depression and emotional overwhelm, facing grief or a painful loss, struggling with difficult family or relationship dynamics, or coping with the stresses and challenges that come with new phases of life (in education, career, relationships, or pregnancy & postpartum).
My approach is warm, gentle and flexible, blending evidence-based tools and coping resources with deeper emotional work including internal family systems (IFS) and parts work, inner child & attachment healing, somatic/nervous system regulation practices, and trauma therapy using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing). Regardless of the approach, I will always meet you where you are, honouring your story and your needs so that our work feels caring & supportive every step of the way.
Every part of you is welcome here, including the ones that might feel a bit harder to love sometimes. If you’d like to explore how we might work together, I invite you to reach out for a free 20-minute consultation! Follow the link above to book at a time that works best for you, or send me an email through the contact form. I look forward to meeting you 🙂
