When our emotions start to overwhelm us, we can often feel like we are caught in a loop. One thing leads to another and then another, until we feel so consumed by our emotions and don’t know how to get out. We start to accept our current state as a norm and continue to live in a state of discomfort and restlessness. I am here to support you in breaking the cycle.
As a student therapist under the supervision of Jessica Ng, I offer a compassionate space without judgment for you to decompress and unpack these feelings. My goal is to work collaboratively with you towards therapeutic goals and regain a sense of connection. I use a trauma-informed and person-focused perspective to center on your individual life experiences and needs. My framework uses a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Approach with an attention to mindfulness techniques to guide my practice.
Using a biopsychosocial approach, I will work with you using an interdisciplinary model to address your concerns and how they interconnect. I emphasize ensuring a positive therapeutic relationship founded on trust and security to create a safe place for you to heal and grow. Throughout this process, we will begin to create patterns that support your growth and release emotions that no longer serve you. These sessions will bring balance back into your life, and address any obstacles you are facing so you can move forward with confidence and emotional security.
