“People start to heal the moment they feel heard.” – Cheryl Richardson
Welcome!
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), practicing under the supervision of Mya Moran (CRPO #10446). My work has spanned a range of settings—including homeless shelters, residential treatment programs, and the housing sector—where I have supported people navigating complex life circumstances. Through these diverse roles, I have witnessed mental health from many different angles, and I thoughtfully integrate this depth of experience into my therapeutic practice.
As a psychotherapist, I strive to offer a safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. I provide therapy in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, and I deeply value the role culture plays in shaping each person’s experiences and identity.
I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem concerns, lifestyle transitions, and cultural adjustment. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals who are navigating cultural transitions—those who are trying to integrate into a new culture while also balancing ongoing responsibilities, relationships, and expectations from different parts of their lives. I understand how complex and overwhelming this process can feel, and I aim to support you in finding a sense of balance and belonging.
My approach is experiential and collaborative, meaning we explore your experiences together to help you connect more deeply with yourself and move toward the changes you wish to see. I believe every person’s story is unique, and I am committed to meeting you where you are – with care, curiosity, and respect.
My lived experience includes
- Discrimination
- Grief/Loss
- Migration
- Spirituality (Non-Religious)
