If you're feeling stuck, I understand. Together, we can get you unstuck and on the path to your wellness goals.

Welcome! I’m glad you’re here, reading about therapy options. Everyone could use help managing their mental health sometimes, so there’s no shame in it. Based on lived experience, I have a deep understanding of what it’s like to get stuck and how to create a path to wellness. With my extensive education in psychology and training in evidence-based psychotherapies, I can offer you practical strategies to use so that you are the expert of managing your own mental health.

The types of therapy I gravitate towards are fairly short-term and goal-oriented, meaning you won’t have to be in therapy for a long time. When we start our sessions together, I’ll invite you to tell me more about what you’d like to work on, and I’ll come up with a therapy plan based on those therapy goals. We can change and add to the plan if we need to. I’m very open to feedback and I’ll check in with you regularly.

ACT helps clients to be in the present moment, focused on doing things they value, despite feeling anxious, depressed, or having strong emotions. CBT is about coming up with more flexible, more helpful thoughts and behaviours, which will have a positive effect on emotions and mood. The Humanistic approach to therapy means the client is always the centre of the therapy process, and they are capable of changing and reaching their potential.

You can expect me to be respectful, approachable, professional, and collaborative. I enjoy working with clients like we’re a team.
