Nereah Felix R.P. (Qualifying), Ph.D. Student
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Independent Associate

I will provide you with the autonomy to guide our sessions in a way that is comfortable and safe for you.
I am currently a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying); I am in the process of completing my Master’s thesis which highlights the importance of multiculturalism training and knowledge in certified therapists. I am also a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at Fielding Graduate University.
I work with individuals 16 and over who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, addiction, self-esteem related concerns, and interpersonal difficulties. I create a warm and inviting space that makes room for your more vulnerable self to be at ease. I am respectful and open-minded as I make room for discussion of your authentic identity. Whether it’s race, religion, culture, sexual identity, health concerns, or neurological difficulties, I remain curious, respectful, and make space for you as a human being. In my sessions, I provide you with the autonomy to guide sessions in a way that is comfortable and safe for you.
I primarily draw from evidence-based treatments, including Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Existential Therapy, and more. I also consider myself to be trauma-informed and incorporate that into my work with clients. In addition, I utilize a social justice lens to guide my work as I keep in mind society at large and institutions that may disempower or silence your experiences.
I hope to be a warm and reliable support on your journey to self-exploration, resiliency, and internal freedom.
In addition to my autonomous practice, I offer psychological services under the supervision of a clinical psychologist.
