Change occurs when one becomes what they are, not when they try to become what they are not
Life can be difficult. Painful experiences, major life transitions, and complicated relationships are part of being human. At times, we may feel disconnected from ourselves, uncertain about who we are, what matters to us, or where we want to go. When this happens, it can be overwhelming to navigate alone.
Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Seeking support is a courageous step, and I am committed to helping you move toward a life that feels meaningful, authentic, and aligned with your values. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship challenges, or a sense of feeling stuck, we can work together to better understand your experience and create meaningful change.
I take a collaborative approach to therapy. I do not see myself as the expert on your life; rather, I bring curiosity, compassion, and clinical knowledge to help you explore your experiences and discover new possibilities. I believe that people already possess many of the strengths and resources needed for growth, and therapy can help uncover and strengthen those capacities. My goal is to create a warm, respectful, and non-judgmental environment where you feel safe to explore whatever is important to you.
My work is integrative and tailored to your unique needs and goals. Drawing from trauma-informed, humanistic, existential, psychodynamic, and behavioural approaches. I adapt therapy to fit the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit a particular model.
I have over 15 years of experience in community mental health and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I welcome clients from all walks of life and strive to provide culturally responsive care that honours each person’s unique background, experiences, identities, and values.
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation and would be happy to answer any questions you may have. I look forward to connecting with you.
