"The spontaneous movement in all of us is toward connection, health, and aliveness. No matter how withdrawn and isolated we have become, on the deepest level, just as a plant spontaneously moves toward sunlight, there is in each of us an impulse toward connection and healing." – Laurence Heller, PhD and Aline LaPierre, PsyD, authors of "Healing Developmental Trauma"

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO #13587). I hold a Master’s degree (M.Ed.) in Counselling Psychology from the University of Ottawa. I am a NARM Therapist and work with clients who had experienced complex and childhood trauma, which usually leads to varying presenting issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship/attachment difficulty, self-esteem and self-image issues, dissociation, personality disorders, and so on.

Before reaching out to me, you may wish to learn more about what to expect when we work together:

In my view, psychotherapy isn’t about merely “fixing” things or using strategies to solve problems. The ultimate aim of psychotherapy is to bring about psychological change, which is beyond “What we do.” When working with clients, I don’t rush or effort to get somewhere. If we go too fast and try too hard to achieve something, we will miss things that potentially can bring us learning about ourselves and opportunities for change.

When we take things slow, instead, we can uncover the root causes of your distress by exploring different aspects of your experiences – cognitive, emotional, physical, and spiritual. This gradual process helps us expand our capacity (“window of tolerance”, our ability to handle these feelings) and create room for all sorts of internal and external experiences. Eventually, we can have a different relationship with these experiences, from where we regain the Agency.

If you have any curiosities before booking an appointment, I can offer a 15-minute Zoom/phone consult to answer any questions or concerns. You can also visit my website to learn more about me and my services:
