I believe that we all have the capacity to overcome life’s challenges and sometimes we just need a little help getting there. That is where psychotherapy comes into play.

I have been passionate about helping others for as long as I can remember; whether it was tutoring younger students, lending a listening ear to friends, or just providing support to those around me. This led me to studying Psychology and obtaining a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ottawa. To further learn about the human mind and what makes us tick, I enrolled in the Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology with Yorkville University. I am currently completing my clinical placement under Yoshie Martinez, M. Ed. Registered Psychotherapist, and am excited to begin working as a registered psychotherapist upon graduation.

I believe that we all have the capacity to overcome life’s challenges and sometimes we just need a little help getting there. That is where psychotherapy comes into play. My role is to work collaboratively with you, in a safe and non-judgemental environment, to uncover past experiences and equip you with coping skills to navigate these difficulties going forward.

My focus areas are depression, anxiety, addiction, anger, self-harm, grief, and trauma. I practice from the person-centered approach to guide you at your own pace and with your best interest at heart. I tailor my approach to meet your needs and incorporate principles from Somatic Experiencing (SE), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).

I am honoured to have the opportunity to work with you through your therapeutic journey.
